Yellow Lab Design

Finally. Gracie, our adopted Yellow Lab. She has been on my to-paint list for the past year. One day I will write about that crazy dog but today I’ll just post her design and tell you that the image is titled “Good Dog” because any time that she is not digging something up, chewing up my boots, bouncing off the walls or chasing cats through the house she is a Good Dog. When she is laying quietly on this stylish topiary couch she is SUCH a Good Dog! ; ) Hope you likey!

This design is available online at michellemasters.com in notecards, linen guest towels, lavender sachets, limited edition prints and pillows! Call 888.313.0239 with any questions.

Bearded Collie Design

This furry guy on a comfy topiary couch is based on one of my customers’ dogs named Monroe. Doesn’t he look ready for a picnic and more than ready to crawl over into your lap if you sat next to him?  Monroe is a Brown/Champagne colored Bearded Collie. This design will be available in both brown/champagne and the more common gray/white.

The Beared Collie design will soon be available online in the following products: Notecards, Linen Guest Towels, Linen Cocktail Napkins, Limited Edition Prints and Limited Edition Pillows. A sweet, unique gift for the Bearded Collie owner! Email mmasters@michellemasters.com with any questions.

Terrier Topiary Pillow

This pillow went out the door last week as a housewarming gift. One of my earlier topiary designs- the Terrier, begging for attention, complete with a little bone on the pot!

The latest brush fringe that I ordered is extra long and I love it! My seamstress is divine and she does such a beautiful job. The pillow construction is the highest quality. Each pillow has an invisible zipper in the bottom allowing the insert to be taken out for cleaning. I print, sign and number each pillow.

This 18″ pillow style is available with all of your favorite topiary designs for $56. Click here for more information. Have a super day!

New Design- Boston Terrier

I do love dogs… and furniture! Can you tell? I could be getting a teensy bit carried away. My latest cutie-pie model is Stella a Boston Terrier. Doesn’t she look perfectly at home on this French style topiary chaise? She is the little Darling of my lovely and talented friend- artist/designer Shelly Kennedy of Drooz Studio. Have you seen Shelly’s work? Shown below is one of her canvas wall hangings. Delightful, Whimsical, Painterly… Love It! Be sure to check out her website- you too will adore her artwork!

The Boston Terrier design will soon be available at michellemasters.com in limited edition giclee prints, pillows, linen guest towels, lavender sachets, cocktail napkins and notecards. What a nice little gift for someone you know who has one! Justsayin… ; )

Let’s go for a walk!

Did someone say “walk”?

Come on… let’s go! How can you resist this face? It’s been a long of week of getting settled after the Clothesline Festival in Rochester (highlights to come). I have slowly been unpacking my trailer and getting reorganized. I needed an energetic walk this morning with my bouncy dogs. So why not join me?

First, on our way out we have to stop at the barn to feed the Hungry Hippos, the barn kitties and sing a morning song to Ruby the Rabbit.

Now, on to our walk.

Down the trail.

Gracie scrambles to catch up to Olie.

The corn is starting to turn that lovely color of light yellow ochre.

The leaves are starting to turn!

Catching their breath.

My favorite tree on these 300 acres. An old Sugar Maple that lights up the landscape in the Fall.

The gorge with a Fall trickle of water from the fields.

Heading back.

Horses turned out.

Couldn’t resist photographing this lovely Pee Gee Hydrangea by the front steps.

Thanks for joining me! Come again!

: ) Michelle

New Design- Corgis Milo and Howard

Are these guys the cutest things you have ever seen?! What personality in those little faces and bodies. The lovely and talented landscape designer Deborah Silver from Detroit Garden Works contacted me regarding doing some custom work featuring her two little scamps. I went ga-ga over Deborah’s beautiful gardens, Italian pots and charming pups. I think my exact words were “Drool, drool”. Poetic, I know. Art is my gift, words… perhaps, are not.

If you are in the Detroit area you should stop by Detroit Garden Works and meet the celebrities, Milo and Howard. I hear they are quite a hit. Customers often visit the store with their dogs… don’t you just love that! I wish I lived closer. They would totally have to kick me out at closing time. Be sure to visit Deborah’s blog Dirt Simple filled with lots of info and garden eye candy. I loved the before and after Riverside landscape project and the Spring pots with pansies and lettuce. Great idea!

The Corgi design will be soon be available in notecards, limited edition prints, limited edition pillows, linen towels, lavender sachets and linen cocktail napkins. See pictures below for references of Deborah’s beautiful gardens and Corgis!

I got alittle crazy and put it all together! Couldn’t help it.
